MRM was inspired to be worn around the world at any time and in many different ways.
MRM is a family and love story between a mother and her two daughters, who led to a common passion by colours, art and scarves that resulted in a brand with reference to the initials of our names: Maria, Rita and Marta. Lion is our family name but it is also a luminous and courage symbol.
As well as our different personal and generational profiles, also MRM was inspired to be worn around the world at different occasions and by different generations. From the beach to the mountains, from the city to the countryside, during the day or to embellish an evening ensemble. Their size and natural raw materials make them incredibly versatile, allowing them to be used around the neck, as a shawl, a seductive top or a romantic dress, at the waist, as a bag or a headscarf.

We design pieces inspired in contemporary art and artists. But colours also make all the difference in our scarves. For the designs to be right, the colours and their interaction also need to be right.

We have a special care and attention in every step of the production process, which is made in a very handmade way.

Our engraving process is done through a silkscreen method, a highly meticulous technique where colour by colour is added to the fabric until get the final pattern. This is one of the steps that makes our scarves so special, with a sharper and vivid print.

As attention to detail makes all the difference, our quest for quality calls for an immaculate finish and this is ensured by artisans that hand-rolled our yellow hems for the right side of the scarf. This finishing touch makes all the difference in the rhythm of MRM scarves.

What is the meaning behind the yellow hems of all MRM scarves? The intention of our work is to make women feel happy and enlightened when wearing our scarves.
